A Bit About Me

Sydney Neely is the producer and host for Now That's Memphis with Sydney and Q&A with Sydney at ABC24 in Memphis, TN. She is also the in-arena host for the Memphis Grizzlies, University of Memphis men’s basketball team, Memphis Redbirds, Memphis Americans, and the previous emcee for the Memphis Hustle, Westchester Knicks, and Columbia University.

She is a proud native Memphian who graduated early with Magna Cum Laude from the University of Memphis and received her master’s degree from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism in New York City.

Sydney's broad range of skills and strong work ethic has allowed her to cover basketball at the Olympics, produce documentaries profiling the world's best athletes, interview stars of hit tv shows, and host events for major brands like Nike.

Sports is near and dear to her heart. In Sydney's spare time, you can catch her hitting the lanes at any local bowling alley—she was on the bowling team in high school and prides herself on scoring 200+. She also loves spending time with her family and sassy miniature dachshunds, Lily and Stella.
